Automatically restart the computer at a specified time, but only if a pending reboot exists. Ideally, with a freely configurable advance warning for the user and a configurable display duration.
Challenge:
Users who shut down and restart their PC daily (with Fast Startup disabled) generally do not need an additional restart.
Users who leave their PC on for several days or simply close the lid often retain a pending reboot status.
Solution:
An automatic nightly reboot with a warning only for devices with a pending reboot, to optimally accommodate both types of users. A conditional reboot ensures that updates are activated promptly without bothering users with multiple reminders or triggering unnecessary reboots.
