Monitoring of Third-Party Patching

Feature Request: Synchronizing Installed Software Versions with Deployment/Patch Packages

It would be essential to implement an additional check—similar to the one used for system updates.

The check should compare the installed version of an application on the system with the version of the corresponding software package in the deployment or third-party patching.

The goal is to be able to centrally determine:

• whether applications managed via third-party patching are actually up to date with the latest patches

• which systems still have outdated versions installed

• which applications or clients are experiencing patching issues

• whether a deployment was successfully applied or needs to be adjusted

Currently, there is no transparent overview showing whether the applications included in third-party patching have actually been updated correctly.

It would therefore be desirable to have a status check or analysis that compares the installed version with the expected package version for each device and application and highlights any discrepancies.
