QR Code/Asset Label Generator for End Devices

Hello Octoja Team,

We’d like to see a feature that automatically generates a QR code or a small asset label for every device managed in Octoja.

The label should contain the following information, for example:

• Device name

• Customer or location

• Serial number or asset ID

• QR code for unique identification of the device

• Optionally, the IT service provider’s logo

When the QR code is scanned, the device should open directly in the Octoja portal. Alternatively, a customizable URL or a public support page could be specified.

The following would also be helpful:

• Freely configurable label sizes

• Selection of the information displayed

• Individual and bulk creation

• Export to PDF for standard label sheets or label printers

• Centralized assignment and management of custom asset numbers

This would allow devices to be identified more quickly during on-site visits and support requests and assigned directly to the correct customer and the appropriate data record.
