For efficient error analysis and proactive system monitoring, it would be extremely helpful if Octoja RMM could store and visualize historical performance data for CPU, memory, and HDD/SSD utilization over an extended period of time.
Currently, many performance issues are difficult to trace once the anomaly has already passed. By providing long-term metrics, administrators could much more easily identify when and under what conditions bottlenecks or unusual load spikes occurred.
Desired Features:
Historical logging of CPU, RAM, and storage metrics
Visualization as a chart with customizable time periods
At least 90 days of retention
Display of peak values, average values, and trends
Ability to correlate with other events (e.g., software installations, updates, or alerts)
Benefits and Use Cases:
Traceable analysis of performance issues even weeks or months after they occur
Identification of creeping resource bottlenecks
Better planning of hardware upgrades through capacity analyses
Identification of applications or services with unusual resource consumption
Support in investigating the root causes of user complaints and sporadic system issues
Historical performance data is an extremely valuable tool, especially when dealing with sporadic performance issues. Retaining metrics for at least 90 days would significantly enhance the practical value of Octoja RMM’s monitoring features and greatly simplify fault analysis.
