Expanding the SQL Database to Include Database Size by Edition

The SQL Check is already very good.

What’s missing is a check of the database size based on the edition. With SQL Express, the limit is 10 GB, and of course you should be able to detect that.

Building this yourself isn’t that easy, since the SYSTEM user normally doesn’t have permissions to access this information, and a file size check isn’t very helpful either, since the physical file size can exceed 10 GB and, depending on the SQL version, the file may be located in a different folder.
