End Of Life

Regarding the ticket that mentioned the EOL sensor for the operating system:

It would be great if the sensor could be expanded to include additional applications such as MSSQL database servers, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, etc.

In general, it would be useful to be able to check the installed software against an index—such as endoflife.date —to gain a general overview of the software and its EOL status, which would be helpful for compliance or insurance requirements.

Perhaps it could even be tightly integrated into the inventory system with a badge indicating whether the software is available and, if so, that its status is okay and not yet EOL, or something similar.
