Hello, everyone:
When a remote maintenance connection to a client or server is active, the mouse pointer is currently displayed as a text cursor at all times. The mouse pointer does not adapt to the respective position or function of the element.
This can lead to confusion, especially during certain actions. For example, when resizing a window, it is not immediately clear when the mouse pointer has reached the correct position and the click can be executed. In a local connection, the mouse pointer would change accordingly in such situations—for example, to an arrow or a double arrow to resize the window.
Desired Behavior:
The mouse pointer should change dynamically within the remote maintenance session according to the respective context, for example:
Standard arrow for normal actions
Text cursor for text fields
Double arrow when resizing the window
Hand cursor for clickable links/elements
Appropriate cursor display for other supported functions
This would make navigation within remote maintenance much more intuitive and would match the behavior of a local session.
It would be great if this could be customized.
