We have noticed that during remote maintenance, the mouse button configuration of the remote user is adopted. For example, if the user has a left-handed configuration with the mouse buttons swapped, the technician will also use this configuration during remote maintenance.
For right-handed technicians, this is unfamiliar and regularly leads to accidental clicks or makes operation more difficult.
It would be desirable for the mouse button configuration during remote maintenance to automatically follow the technician’s local configuration rather than the settings of the remote system. Alternatively, an option could be provided to toggle this behavior.
This would make operation significantly more convenient and efficient without affecting the user’s settings.
