Customizing Checks on a Per-Device Basis

We have a request regarding the checks and sensors, for example, for the HP ILO. Not all hardware is the same, so there are some SNMP devices that, for example, do not necessarily have two power supplies. However, the check for the HP ILO assumes two power supplies—which means we always get an error because the SNMP value cannot be retrieved. It would be great if we could specify here which OID values or thresholds are relevant and should be used, so that I can exclude the second power supply.
