Adding custom fields to rule criteria for packages

It would be useful to be able to create rules based on custom fields and their values.

This would allow for more precise filtering within packages.

    Hello there,

    we already support that.

    in the package's Rules tab, add a condition and pick Custom Field, then choose the field and value (or use customField.<key> = "value" in the advanced editor).

      Thanks for your reply. I don’t see the custom field option in the rules:

      Perhaps I’m doing something wrong.

        Hi Kevin,

        the Custom Field option only appears once at least one device custom field has been created, you can add them under Administration → Custom Fields.

          Hi Andreas, thanks for the feedback. It would be great if we could do this using custom fields for the device, client and site. That would allow for more precise configuration.
